Recent Work: The Heidelberg Project

The Heidelberg Project is an open-air art environment in the heart of Detroit’s East Side. Tyree Guyton, founder and artistic director, uses discarded objects to create a two block area full of color and symbolism, provoking thought, promoting discussion and inspiring action.

Now in its 25th year, the Heidelberg Project is recognized for saving a forgotten neighborhood and transforming lives through creativity.
